Notice of Public Hearing on Tax Rate – September 3, 2024
The First Colony Levee Improvement District No. 2 is set to hold a public hearing on September 3, 2024, to discuss a proposed tax rate of $0.160000 per $100 of property value for the upcoming year.
While this represents a slight decrease from last year’s rate, individual taxes may still fluctuate based on changes in property values. The proposed rate could result in a modest 2.36% increase in taxes on the average residence homestead.
