Dear Residents:
The District is currently experiencing an infestation of feral hogs. Feral hogs have been accessing the subdivision by gates inadvertently left open on the levee. As a temporary measure to deter feral hogs from entering and damaging the subdivision, the District will be locking the levee access gates and will reopen them when feasible.
Beginning the week of January 4th, the District’s operator and their subcontractors will begin work to repair the side slope erosion at Alcorn Lake. The repairs will take between two and three weeks, weather permitting.
Expect construction traffic accessing District property in the 5000 block of Avondale Dr. at the south and west sides of Alcorn Lake during this time.
