FCLID 2 Weather Update

The Board, the District Engineer and the Operator have all been in communication about the storm that is approaching late this evening into tomorrow morning. As many of you are aware there is ongoing construction at the pump station. The pump station and generator are fully operational. The prediction is that we will receive 3-6 inches of rain with isolated areas around the area receiving 8-10 inches.

The Board, Engineer, and Operator will continue to monitor the rainfall and river elevation through the weekend.

National Weather Service Seminar on Flooding Open to the Public

Come join your neighbors to learn all about flooding. The National Weather Service, Harris County Flood Control District, Fort Bend County Drainage, and FEMA will be discussing the types of flooding, watersheds, forecasts, warnings, flood risks, and flood insurance. The training is free and open to the public.”
